BC汽车保险局ICBC提醒驾驶人士节日假期开车要注意安全。
ICBC表示，根据往年的数据，年底节日期间平均每小时就会发生23次车祸。全省每年有大约540人在超过1900宗车祸中受伤， 3人在事故中死亡。
根据2016至2020年间的平均数，低陆平原每年在圣诞节前后三日有260人在740宗车祸中受伤。而在新年期间平均有140人在480宗车祸中受伤。
ICBC提醒，驾驶人士出车前要检查车辆，包括准备好冬季雪胎，减慢车速，并保持安全行车距离。
